Mojca Zajc Avramovič
Assoc. Prof. Mojca Zajc Avramovič, MD, PhD is a specialist in pediatrics and pediatric rheumatology. She works as a Pediatric Rheumatology Consultant at the University Children’s Hospital Ljubljana and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She earned a PhD in pediatric rheumatology with a focus on pharmacogenetics in juvenile idiopathic arthritis. She is actively involved in clinical research and professional societies and has received several awards for her work, including the PReS/CARRA Research Grant in 2023. She is part of the task forces for transition of care from pediatric to adult healthcaare systems in the European Reference Networks for immunodeficiencies and autoinflammatory diseases – ERN RITA and for rare connective tissue diseases ERN ReCONNET.
